here is the first photo a day for March...
1: UP

enjoyed the pretty weather we have today, 73 degrees...what a way to kick off a new month, huh?! LOVE IT, but not the bumble bees or flies ;) Corinne playing one of our old cell phones...looks like she was about to give it a little kiss, haha.
*********
since i haven't really been sharing a lot of what we have been doing around here, i thought i'd start now, by doing a monthly update at the end or beginning of each month. this is mostly for the grandparents & myself really.
plus, since i have decided to jump on the project life band wagon this year (thanks to my friend Linda, who talked me into it..i had been contemplating about it for months last year & finally took the plunge) i won't be sharing my pages here on the blog. i may have snippets of it once in a very blue moon, but it won't be on the regular. only b/c i just don't want to be committed to snap pictures of my pages every week, ha. and i must say, i am TRULY enjoying the process of project life. i rarely scrapbook for myself now a days & project life is a great way for me to document everything we do w/out having to create a layout about every moment, which i STILL love love love to do of course.

this month, the weather has been ultra crazy w/ Spring like temps & a dusting of snow that melts w/in 12 to 24 hours. it's been really nice. Corinne & i take a lot of walks at our favorite playground when the weather is nice.

we've taken many trips to the library...i love that it is right across the street from our neighborhood.

every Saturday is indoor soccer for Tyler. he loves when i am there watching him play, cheering him on, snapping pictures. he sometimes smile when he sees me watching him.

we've also spent a LOT of time learning origami. making giraffes, fish, flowers, you name it. Tim is way better at it than i am, ha.

we've had plenty of play dates. Corinne has a best friend she goes to pre-school w/ she looks forward to seeing. they are so adorable together & always have fun.

Ty's close friend moved, which he's now not in his class or school any longer. but was ecstatic to celebrate his friends sleepover birthday party earlier this month. Ty was so upset he had to leave & cried for a few hours when he arrived home. definitely need to get them both back together again.

every weekend has been busy around here, but when we get a chance, we make sure we relax as much as possible. i love when the kids hang out in their bedrooms playing w/ their toys and dancing and singing and just being themselves.

Ty is ALWAYS outside playing w/ his friends, riding bikes, scooters, wrestling, playing soccer, you name it. he & two other boys are always together. each of them get upset when the other can't come out & play due to homework, etc. it's pretty comical.

my favorite thing my kids do together is create paper tracks or paper towns & tape the sheets down on the kitchen floor. they play for hours! it's so Awesome to see their creative imagination at work.

bowling is something i grew up doing a lot w/ my parents. so, we try to go bowling at least once a month (it's crazy expensive, LOL) but well worth it. the kids love it as much as i do.

i volunteered at Corinne's school this month, helping the teachers w/ their Valentine's party. it's amazing how different Corinne acts when she is around others when i am not there..she is GOOD! i really enjoyed watching her play w/ her classmates, being polite & being happy to seem me.

Corinne & i spend a LOT of time together at my worktable. while i am working on assignments, jewelry or project life, she is there right next to me drawing or scrapbooking herself. i even made space for her in one of the cubical shelves in my expedite shelf w/ plenty of supplies (note, she has taken over my Creative Memories pens, which explains why i am missing some. i need to hide them from her, LOL).

Tim took us out to Carrabbas for Valentine's dinner. it was WONDERFUL! we didn't even wait as long as they said we had to wait, but we did sit at our table for a GOOD two hours. it was just nice to relax & enjoy each others company & food w/out being rushed.

we now have a new tablet, the Toshiba Thrive. it arrived a few weeks ago & the kids use it more than i do, haha. i love it!! i can't wait to read books on it.

can never go w/out a seasonal cold around here. Ty had a fever as high as 102.9 for 2.5 days. not good. he missed his last soccer game but made it to his friends birthday party. he's much better now. Corinne was home w/ a fever yesterday & i'm so glad she is all better today.

of course, me & my girlfriends got together for our monthly crop, YAY! always fun. they are a hoot. can't wait til next month now!

getting some fresh air spending time w/ her friend. she had a blast the other day during another play date. it's been so good for her & of course, for me. we both came home happy & tired.

a little funny...we were just about to sit down to eat dinner & all of a sudden, Tyler started screaming & then cried out loud. he had blood on his thumb & it freaked him out. we couldn't figure out how he hurt himself while sitting at the table, b/c there wasn't anything sharp. it was so weird. then all of a sudden, he said he hurt himself while playing w/ the stapler. we told him to go clean his hands & come back to add the band-aid. well after he came back i asked him how he hurt himself w/ the stapler & he blurted out that he stapled himself and tim & i busted out laughing (not a good thing to do when your son is crying his heart out). he was upset that we laughed. we tried to contain ourselves but we let him know that it has happened to us before. it is bond to happen sooner or later. fast forward, the entire time at dinner he kept blaming the stapler company for not having a safety lock on the stapler (not good that he is putting the blame on someone else, LOL). mind you, he bought this tiny ass stapler at his school store a week ago. he was trying to figure out how it worked & i guess his thumb slipped as he pushed the stapler. i know it's wrong to laugh, but it was too hard not to. :)
ok, sorry for the wordy post. didn't mean to do that. hope you had a wonderful February. i'm looking forward to what March has to offer besides me turning 42 in a few days...smirk!
