Gossamer Blue's January kits are so yum (i know i say that EVERY month, but it's the truth!) if i wasn't so busy during last month, i would have created a LOT more layouts w/ these kits. the January Main kit is jam packed w/ Crate Paper, Studio Calico, My Minds Eye, American Crafts, October Afternoon which are accompanied by an awesome snowflake die-cut file by Lori Whitlock.
for my First Snowfall layout took a different direction than anticipated. i used the digital files and heat embossed the snowflakes in a dark brown color for contrast.
i got a little stitch happy w/ a mix of pattern papers cut into long triangle shapes and managed to stitch each photo into place w/in the triangles.
i adored the My Minds Eye collection so much, that i instantly knew what photos i wanted to use w/ the product for my layout Her Treasured Memories. my grandma's china holds dear to my heart and i love that i get to have them displayed in my own home and use on special occasions.
i even used the digital die-cut files from the December Main kit to display my journaling.
