here are the rest of my dec daily pages and album cover images... it's ALL DONE, YAY!! i'm very pleased w/ how it turned out this year and look forward to next years album. thanks for stopping by taking a peak at my album this month & thanks to those of you who enrolled in the Gossamer Blue Dec. Daily Boot Camp. you can also view the entire dec daily album here...
day 16 & 17... reading Christmas books and counting down to Christmas
day 18... Corinne's dance school finally put up a pretty tree...baby girl posing in one of her dance moves for me
on day 19... i saved the brochure in our packet w/ details of the event during our visit at the ZooLights in Washington, D.C.
day 20 & 21... Corinne hanging her light banner on our Christmas card wall. Corinne had our gift inside this adorable paper bag that she decorated...makes for a nice addition to the last day of school before winter break.
day 22... cleaning out kids toys & enjoying time w/ friends at a Christmas party
day 23... building the gingerbread house, which turned out super cute!
day 24... Christmas cookies for Santa, our Christmas eve tradition, Corinne sprinkling reindeer food in the front yard & a few hours to enjoy 1/4" or less of snow!
day 25... i saved some bows, tags and wrapping paper to add to my Christmas day pages...
as you can see, i've machine stitched the pockets closed so memorabilia is nicely secured. to cover the back of tags in one pocket, i embellished it w/ a wooden snowflake & flair button, like the added texture and dimension here.
also, added lots of tiny snowflakes to one of the tag pockets for fun.
gotta love the blurry photo of me on Christmas morning, snapped by my awesome son Tyler :)
i covered my album with a fluffy white towel i had bought a few years back at Ikea...it was relatively small, enough coverage for front & back. added some burlap ribbon i've been hoarding for several years and hot glued red gems. (yes, i did fix that shipping tag so it wouldn't stick out, it was annoying me after i snapped the photos, hahaha)
xo!
