in my spare time, i made it a point to spend some quality time with a few of my girlfriends this summer. i LOVE hanging out w/ them. they are so fun. they make me laugh to pieces and cry to the point my bladder can't take it anymore. they are ALL so open & honest & tell it like it is, which i LOVE!
Linda was visiting friends on the east coast and we got to spend two days together. we even got the chance to hang out w/ our girl Keisha. we ate, shopped, chatted and ate some more...hehehe.
Corinne was happy to finally meet Linda & her boys, too :)
and the fun part of our summer visit to DC, was a photo in front of the White House w/ MY GIRL! another thing to cross of our bucket list ;)
my girlfriends Deborah & Penny have been my friends for ages & i love & miss them so much. even though we live in the same state, we don't get to see each other as much as we'd love to. we get together a few times a year & when we do, it's a blast, but always goes by way too fast!
we hung out at Penny's condo. we enjoyed delish food and created a fun craft project together. did some shopping at a few of our favorite stores and had dinner at Firebirds. LOVE spending time with them!
see...this is why i adore Penny even more. she loves to photog her food & she is extremely inspiring! you should visit Penny's blog, her photography is AMAZING!!!
last but definitely not least...i was so excited to have a free morning to hang out w/ my awesome girlfriends, Laurie & Katherine. we make a point to crop together EVERY month! we may not get much done, but we always have a good time. when the kids started back up at school, we got together for brunch & it was so lovely! they make me laugh all the time, love them! i am hoping we do this more often...hint, hint ;)
