what better way to celebrate the last weekend of Summer by trying to nurse a cold, soak up sunshine at the beach while being sick & cleaning a five year old runny nose every fifteen minutes, enjoying a backyard cookout at my parents & helping them prepare for 40+ guests while sick and of course spending many several days breathing through the mouth while taking care of my five year's cold, too. ha, it couldn't be better...except, i'm am happy to be home and share w/ you my projects using Gossamer Blue's FABULOUS September kits.

for each of my layouts, i mixed all the kits together & eve used the die-cut file on each one. my Sihouette has been a "work-horse" when it comes to creating.
lots of color blocking here, mixing up bits & pieces of elements together, one of my favorite things to do when creating a project...
i love the look of pattern papers framed behind shapes, creating that negative space affect...
and of course, i used the die-cut files to create my big & bold title.
