you've probably noticed in some of the pictures this week that our walls in our kitchen are white & blue, we are in the middle of renovating our kitchen. we worked backwards, did the floor cabinets & granite counter tops first. that way we could get the most expensive part of the reno out of the way. well, we were able to get the rest of the cabinets for the walls today. so, we drove both vehicles up to Ikea & boy, were they PACKED! we've not been there on a Saturday in years, which is why i go during the week right when they open. we had to wait over 2 hours for them to cart out our cabinets & a new sofa Tim bought for his office. our kitchen was 3rd in line. LOTS of people buying kitchen cabinets today. we roamed the store & of course, found some other amazing deals in their As Is dept. (i call it scratch & dent).
the day was good, but exhausting. as soon as we arrived home, i changed into my lounging clothes & relaxed for several hours before making dinner. Ty had a friend over & the kids played while Tim cleaned out his office to put the sofa together.
our day consisted of spending 3 hours at Ikea, driving for a total of 1 1/2 hours & ending our day out at Sweet Frog for some frozen yogurt. 69 camera photos & 4 cell phone photos...

i sat in the kitchen for hours before heading upstairs & around 1030 I see Tyler slowly passing out watching Real Steal on his dvd player in bed.
