Work In Progress August kit is a super fun kit that has already sold out :), YAY!! i adored the embellishments a LOT & was in a white-on-white mood this month :)
this layout i created using the Cookie Cutter tool in PSE 9...i love the look of the raindrops on this pool side page. i just might be a little addicted to cutting my photos into different shapes other than circles & squares ;) i LOVE the Fiskars punch i used, too. i bought it several months ago w/ the intention of using it a lot, but i completely forgot i had it...LOL.
my niece & Ty having a good time playing together on the trampoline the day before we were suppose to head back to VA. it was fun watching them do all sorts of tricks. used a die-cut to create the photo frames by Lifestyle crafts. of course, i had to add a banner to the page & this time i stitched paper along the banner for added texture. i liked doing this other than adding string.
we didn't put up our volleyball net this year, not sure why. thinking we may have to this weekend, since it doesn't get cold around here til October or November...but the kids love it. they would play for hours together. i basically created this page w/out photos. i had an idea of what photos i was going to use, but i wasn't for sure of the size. after participating in a webinar last week, i was more inspired to break out my Silhouette. cut out these corner word phrases & randomly placed them on the page. once the words were glued to the page, i think measured out where the photos will go.
loved the white polka dot on gray pattern paper so much that i couldn't use it all up...LOL. i layered tags & stickers onto the envelope, machine stitched around it all & added the photo using pop dots. i even did a little hidden journaling...haven't done that in years!
