on film...

i just had to share a few pictures from yesterday. Ty was in a mood by the time Tim came home. he was hungry, but claimed he wasn't. after a few grapes he was peachy :-). sitting on his dad's lap playing w/ Sky also made him feel much better...check out Sky...he's skinny as ever, but lots of muscles w/ his old self...LOL!

Tim set the tripod up w/ my film camera to take some pictures & of course Ty had to get involved. he took pics of the "pretty" weeds that are growing in our yard...LOL! a reminder that spring is here & that Tim has yardwork to do...LOL.

they both took turns at taking pictures of each other, too. it was the cutest thing. Tim & his big butt on his playset...shame...i'm surprised the slide didn't break...LOL! i missed a great shot later, b/c i was cooking dinner, Ty told Tim to go sit on his little blue chair so he could get a portrait of him & Sky together...i SO can't wait to see how that photo came out!

anyway, just wanted to share. have a lovely Friday & weekend...we'll be in DC & i can't wait :-)!

i guess i should post huh?! well it's has been crazy busy since last weeks excitement. ILs came into town Friday afternoon. it was a great visit. Tim & i kept them pretty busy, which they really enjoy keeping busy. MIL painted both Ty's & Cori's room...so NICE! so excited. they look so great. Tim & FIL put together Ty's wooden playset all day Sunday. MIL even made Ty's curtains for me...super nice! now i just have to worry about making Cori's curtains now :-)! hehehe! anyway, it was great having them here. Tim & i went out to see a movie Saturday night, Premonition...BORING...omg, i totally didn't get it. IL's left Monday am, i ended up passing out on the couch for a little bit, since i was up at 3am watching Kill Bill Vol.2...LOLOL! love that movie though, but sad i couldn't sleep..hehehe.

Tuesday, Ty & i enjoyed the 82 degree weather. boy was it just gorgeous! we went to Baskin Robins for some ice cream. it's our treat to go once a week. but believe me, i could go there everyday, but don't wanna embarass myself...LOL! then off to buy some new maternity clothes since it's warming up & outside to play in the backyard. we were both a bit tired by the time Tim came home. other than that, not much else going on. i have 2 more months left to go...eagerly excited. Tim is ready for her to come now & i'm like, ummm, NO...take your time...LOL!

anyway, heading out to get a pedicure this am, can't wear cute sandles w/ dry winter feet...hehehe. then lunch & then to work. can't wait to see what new goodies came in. here are a few pictures from last week, just to share. i have more, but i am too lazy to do it now. i'll post some of Ty's room later today & Cori's room after it's nicely decorated! have a lovely day! :-)

HOF HM 2007 :-)

i am so surprised i didn't have a car accident on my way to pick up little man from school when i got the call from Fred himself. no, i didn't scream at all, but i did get happily excited! it was exactly 5:01pm. i just left work & when i saw the 801 area code, i thought of my girlfriend, Jen. i was about to say something horrible when answering, but something told me not to. b/c i know when she calls, her name pops up. so thank goodness i caught that. i am so grateful! i still can't believe it. now i can't wait to find out which layout they want to use for the book. i am so excited! so glad i continued w/ the contest. i had started out kinda early, but was so so tired w/ the pregnancy. then i decided to finally sit down & complete my entries. so glad i did! one of the best news a pregnant mama could ask for :-). they finally added the Hall of Fame winners to their site & the names of the Honorerable Mentions; my name is towards the bottom :-)

baby news, Corinne is doing GREAT! she is always keep my ass up all night. i dont know what her problem is. she kicks & punches & turns & whatever. but i swear i wish i could just sleep a good 8 hours straight right now. between August & Dec. i spent a lot of time sleeping. just exhausted in the first few months. i would pass out in my clothes after work on our bed. i'd sleep like a baby. but the past 3 or so months, i am lucky to get 3 to 4 hours of sleep. up at 330 & i'm tossing & turning til it's time to get up...SO not good. i can take Tylenol Pm or Benadryl, but i am one who doesn't like taking meds if i don't have to. i did try the Benadryl. it worked 1 night, but the 2nd time, nada. so that is my rant for the week...LOL! my lack of sleep & feeling like i am a walking zombie. anyway, here are some ultrasound pics (for my mom) from my dr visit this past Monday. i also went in today & i do not have diabetes, so that's great, but i am enemic, which i have been since i could remember, so iron pills i will have to take.

ILs are coming into town Friday. so no scrappin for me, unless at night. i do have some projects to complete, so i will stay up a little to get something done. i haven't had the creative mojo lately. that aside, we have to go & pick out some paint for Corinne's room & Ty's. ILs are gonna help paint both their rooms. can't wait. Ty will have green & blue & Corinne will have Lavender & i cant' think of 2nd color. but i am SO NOT a pink kinda gal. just never liked pink. guess b/c it never looked good on me...haha! but i do love the cute pink outfits she does have already. anyway, once their walls are painted then the decorating shall begin :-). so i am super excited! i have been avoiding Target for the last week or more actually. b/c i will go on a spending spree like you wouldn't believe & i am trying to be good...LOL! but it's TIME for a visit :-). but this visit will be me registering. i am a slacker. i didn't plan on registering at all. but i've had a few people ask me & i guess i best get off my butt & get to it huh?! hahaha. so i will get on the ball w/ that.

Ty's expression in this photo cracks me up...LOL! he had a great time on the waterlog for the first time, but man, does he look forever terrified? ROFLMAO!!! i can't help it, just cracks me up. for HMITM this week, you are challenged to use 10 buttons, 10 pattern papers & 10 stickers. i think i've accomplished that! have a great day! TGIF!

Friday couldn't get here any faster! love Fridays! it's parents night out for us. so excited. Ty's school does this 1x a month & we always sign up for it. going to see the movie 300 tonight, i've heard mixed reviews, but still interested in seeing it.

we've had super gorgeous weather this week, well until last night. we have some winter advisory further north of VA & lots of rain & flooding around here. cold front came along with it, in the 30s now, which stinks. it was over 80 degrees all this week & it was NICE!!! Tuesday, i took Ty out to the Bug Box. it's a bug zoo, but more like a museum & he loved it a lot. he's still afraid of bugs, but always curious, just like any toddler. then a trip McD's for lunch & then the playground, which was packed. later, i was craving ice cream. i haven't had ice cream in a long while. had to hit up Basskin Robbins. i had a sundae of JavaAlmond w/ whip cream, hot fudge w/ lots of nuts on top & a cherry...YUM!!! Ty had his usual, chocolate on a cone! Tim met us there on his way home from work, so it was nice, he was home super early! but w/ all the transfat content in the ice cream, he decided to watch us eat...LOL! he did take a few bites of Ty's ice cream. i don't share my food...lol!

well i am off to take a nap this am. another night of not sleeping. think i got 5 hours this time, but i hate the idea of tossing & turning for hours & feeling restless. have a lovely weekend :-)!

a Name:Pictures

we finally agreed on one that we both like, Corinne Madison. that is her name. i can finally call her by a name instead of little lady or baby girl, which is what i will keep calling her anyway. but atleast we all, as a family, can reference her as Corinne Madison. pretty long, didn't want that, but couldn't resist and we like the flow. so i am satisfied she has my initials, til she marries...LOL! she's doing pretty good. she is a fiesty little one still. forever moving around in my belly, making it look like jello. i am 30 weeks. not long to go. i am getting more and more excited each day. Ty is cute & loves to give her, my belly, a kiss goodnight. super sweet! i have an ultrasound appt. on Monday. can't wait for that, curious at how much she is weighing now. i can tell she's gained more weight or it's just me gaining all the weight...LOL! gravity sure does take a toll on ya...hehehe.

here are Ty's Spring school pictures. doesn't he look CUTE?! of course he does...hehehe. just so handsome. i have to spend some time getting these out quicker than his fall pictures last year...LOL! i was so late i got them out last month, b/c he had these pictures to take...LOL! yeah, i'm not great at mailing stuff out. anyway, just wanted to share! have a great HumpDay :-)! weekend recap...

Saturday: spent my day at an all day crop w/ some girlfriends (Becky, Robin, Karen, Renee, Kelly & Me). we meet annually here in F'burg & crop for 2 or 3 days straight. so it was a real treat to have much needed girl time w/ Tim being gone the entire week in CT. later on, Tim, Ty & i headed up north to his co-workers wifes babyshower. that was fun. Ty had a blast playing w/ a little boy there...kept him occupied! later that night me & the girls went out to see Wild Hogs. OMG, that movie was flippin hilarious...LOL! if you need a really really really good laugh, this is the movie to see. it had you rollin the entire time. many times i'd lose my breath & an aching stomach it was so funny...LOL! seriously, a must see movie.
















Sunday: was jammies day. we didn't wake up til 1030, well Ty & i, Tim was in bed til noon...typical. so it was NICE to sleep. mom is passing thru from a trip to a Casino in West VA...hehehe. so we had the chance to meet up w/ her at Golden Corral, where her & a group of gamblers took a break for a good meal...hehehe...gamblers...LOL! anyway, it was nice to see her for the hour or so. she was excited to see Ty & Ty was excited to see her & show her his new bicycle toy he just bought.
















Tim took Ty to Peds in the am & his left ear is all puffy & the right ear is not as bad, but for sure ear infection. no pink eye, it was just irritation, so he was good in that dept. he was given Amoxicillin, which he's allergic to & it's noted in his records, but there was an oversite. Ty only had 2 doses Sat. & he broke out in a rash, but NOT as too bad where he broke into a fever, too. so this am i am going to pick up a new prescription for him to take & hope to clear up his infection.

long week...

i'm embarassed to say that Friday morning as Ty & i were heading out the door to head to his school, i proceeded to shut the front door KNOWING i left the keys on the hook inside the house & VIOLA, we were locked out. total dumbass i was, seriously! lol. i was so upset. Tim is out of town & i was mad at myself, b/c i don't keep my garage door opener in my car, it's in my studio (don't ask) & my car was unlocked. Tim's car was running (it starts up at a push of a button, so no keyinside) but it was locked w/ a garage door opener. called the hubby during his class in CT & he says there isn't even a spare key in the garage where we normally keep it, so Ty & i are pretty much screwed. well, instead of me breaking a window, which i was about to do, i called a Lock Smith. hung out at my neighbors house til they came 20 mins later to let us in...i NOW KNOW HOW TO UNLOCK our door w/out a key. not a good start of a Friday. then to top it off, i picked up Ty from school & he was all teary eyed, holding the asst. dir. hands. he was so upset b/c his left ear was hurting him really bad & his right eye was all reddish/pinkish...i was livid at the fact that he had these symptoms again. thinking i will keep him out of school for a week, but i do have to work. so he's schedule to be seen this am to make sure he's ok or have whatever issues he has going on remedied.

on the upside, i recieved a mailer from Pier 1 Kids a few days ago & was floored to see more fun butterfly decor. i was excited. luckly, there is a Pier 1 Kids right across the street from lss...hehehe! after picking up Tyler, i decided to head back to see what goodies they had that i liked. lots & lots of BUTTERFLY'S, woohoo! i only bought 1 of these and 1 set of these & Ty picked out a harmonica in the clearance bin. we both walked out happy that night!

if Ty doesn't have pink eye, we will all head up to a baby shower in Woodbridge VA. one of Tim's co-workers, wife, is pregnant. she is due end of April. Tim is finally home. we picked him up Friday night. we are glad he's home. i dropped him & Ty off at home, so i could head back to an all day crop at lss. will be going back today/tonight to crop til 10. can't wait! we've really been on the go all week long & i still feel like i'm running. i am hoping to enjoy a relaxing Sunday in my jammies just chillin and watching a few movies & even getting a few pages done, too. so we'll see.

this is my week & i decided to be difficult, not a good thing! the challenge is create a layout using 50 pieces of chipboard. now i know it is A LOT, BUT, you can break it down in so many fun ways. i kinda like cheated, thanks Renee ;-), and cut up my star chipboard in 5 pieces each. it made my life much easier...LOL! i used 17 chipboard letters & 33 pieces of shape chipboard, exactly 50 pieces, 51 if you include the 'dot' over the 'i'. have fun & post your link here.

Ikea:Friends

today we met up w/ Ali & her son, Evan, at Ikea. Ty & Evan hit it off, FAST! it was so great to have them hang out in the play area for a while, while Ali & i got the chance to catch up & shop. it was so great. bought a few things i needed & spurlged just on a few extras, i did pretty good...hehehe. afterwards we went to Chickfila for lunch. Ty & Evan ate lunch fast to play in the tot area & boy did they play...hehehe. non stop. you'd think they would be exhausted, but they weren't. they got a long so good. too bad we live a bit a ways away, but hopefully we can meet up again for another outing so the boys can keep each other occupied while we catch up on conversation. here are some pictures from today, i screwed up & didn't change the settings on my camera before we headed out this am...i am so bummed, but they are still scrapable :-)!















on our way home, we went to Super Target to get a few things & headed home. now Ty is ready for me to get my big belly self on the floor to play trains with him...OY. you'd think he'd be too tired to play or have a playmate for the day...LOL! i was hoping to lounge on the couch & watch the rest of Oprah...hehehe! think i'll coax him into eating Carrot cake instead...hehehe!
