i am so surprised i didn't have a car accident on my way to pick up little man from school when i got the call from Fred himself. no, i didn't scream at all, but i did get happily excited! it was exactly 5:01pm. i just left work & when i saw the 801 area code, i thought of my girlfriend, Jen. i was about to say something horrible when answering, but something told me not to. b/c i know when she calls, her name pops up. so thank goodness i caught that. i am so grateful! i still can't believe it. now i can't wait to find out which layout they want to use for the book. i am so excited! so glad i continued w/ the contest. i had started out kinda early, but was so so tired w/ the pregnancy. then i decided to finally sit down & complete my entries. so glad i did! one of the best news a pregnant mama could ask for :-). they finally added the Hall of Fame winners to their site & the names of the Honorerable Mentions; my name is towards the bottom :-)
baby news, Corinne is doing GREAT! she is always keep my ass up all night. i dont know what her problem is. she kicks & punches & turns & whatever. but i swear i wish i could just sleep a good 8 hours straight right now. between August & Dec. i spent a lot of time sleeping. just exhausted in the first few months. i would pass out in my clothes after work on our bed. i'd sleep like a baby. but the past 3 or so months, i am lucky to get 3 to 4 hours of sleep. up at 330 & i'm tossing & turning til it's time to get up...SO not good. i can take Tylenol Pm or Benadryl, but i am one who doesn't like taking meds if i don't have to. i did try the Benadryl. it worked 1 night, but the 2nd time, nada. so that is my rant for the week...LOL! my lack of sleep & feeling like i am a walking zombie. anyway, here are some ultrasound pics (for my mom) from my dr visit this past Monday. i also went in today & i do not have diabetes, so that's great, but i am enemic, which i have been since i could remember, so iron pills i will have to take.
ILs are coming into town Friday. so no scrappin for me, unless at night. i do have some projects to complete, so i will stay up a little to get something done. i haven't had the creative mojo lately. that aside, we have to go & pick out some paint for Corinne's room & Ty's. ILs are gonna help paint both their rooms. can't wait. Ty will have green & blue & Corinne will have Lavender & i cant' think of 2nd color. but i am SO NOT a pink kinda gal. just never liked pink. guess b/c it never looked good on me...haha! but i do love the cute pink outfits she does have already. anyway, once their walls are painted then the decorating shall begin :-). so i am super excited! i have been avoiding Target for the last week or more actually. b/c i will go on a spending spree like you wouldn't believe & i am trying to be good...LOL! but it's TIME for a visit :-). but this visit will be me registering. i am a slacker. i didn't plan on registering at all. but i've had a few people ask me & i guess i best get off my butt & get to it huh?! hahaha. so i will get on the ball w/ that.
