yo...

i have my first publiciation in a Dutch magaine called Scrapbookmagazine.NL. how cool is that? i think it's AWESOME! i was so thrilled to receive my copies of the magazine last week. i really haven't been able to put it down. the magazine is filled w/ lots & lots of inspiration. i love it & so glad i was able to create for the issue. thanks so so much Revlie & Truike for the opportunity girls, i really appreciate it :-)

the project was to use packaging of some sort on your layouts. for this layout about Corinnes first barrettes, i used some of her real barrettes on the page w/ the ghost butterflies.

and using the packaging tag from Ty's costume for hidden journaling (i've not used hidden journaling in AGES).

in other news, Tim didn't arrive home last Friday night until almost 1 am. i made him take a taxi b/c i wasn't going to drag the kids out that late. Saturday i spent a lot of time just goofing off & did a little shopping localling not much. they took me to my fave japanese steak house for Mother's Day, Otani's...i go there every year & always LOVE it!!!

we played outside & tried to get some pictures, but as usual, it's like, just be quick w/ the camera & be happy w/ what you get. Ty didn't want to take pics, he was too busy flying his dragon kite around & falling face down everytime...hahahaha. it was hilarious, too!

well, Tim left again for NJ, Atlantic City for a regional meeting on Sunday night. his boss got reamed by his wife b/c of him scheduling the meeting around Mother's Day & had to send out an apologie to all the Engineers. hahaha, i told Tim to tell his boss don't let me see him in a dark alley. Tim gets home sometime tonight. i hope he doesn't plan on going away again for a while, or i think i will send threats to his bosses emails...;-) i'm only kidding, maybe...LOL!

ok, i just thought i'd do a quick update on my blog this am since i've neglected to do so earlier this week. it's Wed & time to take Ty to prek in a moment & then C & i will head to Borders for storytime & music. have a good day!!!

inspiration...

i FINALLY got my copy of The Sneaky Chef yesterday. hoping to have a little menu made up by the end of the weekend. i've heard great reviews about this book & my friend Sara has been using it for a few weeks now & everything that she has made has been a hit. so i'm excited to get started.

another great book...Where Women Create i love looking into other artists/crafters, you name it, studio. fun to see where people create & how they store or display their supplies.

Artful Blogging is another FAVE of mine. this is a fab issue, as are all the others past issues. lots of inspirational blogs to visit. i will sit at my desk or on my laptop in bed & visit each blog that's in this book.

Step By Step Jewelry Workshop adore this book. very informational, too. i made my very own jumprings & ball headpins a few nights ago when the kids were in bed. went out on the back porch & fired up my torch & i was just ecstatic. can't wait to get new supplies to make other fun things.

Happy Monday...

how was everyone's weekend? ours was GREAT! me & the kids spent the weekend at my parents & we had a GREAT time! i will upload pictures later today or tomorrow. right now i am enjoying this time to update my blog while C is playing on the floor. we dropped Ty off at school & went on our morning walk, but alas, it was 10 mins short, b/c she wouldn't stay in her stroller...dang! i love to power walk in the am...feels like i do at least accomplish my excersing, ya know?!

LOVE all her felt goodies. i had to custom order this lovely cell phone pouch. it matches my orange cell & it's PERFECT! i still have a bit of room to put my ID & money in it if i don't feel like carrying my purse around. LOVE it!

Guten Tag

we rented these movies a few days ago, 27 Dresses & The Golden Compass. both AWESOME! 27 Dresses was just hilarious & warm hearted. Golden Compass was great & adventurous, can't wait til it comes out with part 2.

after picking up the kids yesterday, they had a field day playing in my studio. Ty diving into the big box that came in from 2peas & Corinne, just tossing everything out of bags & drooling all over herself. they both had a great day at the school, so that was good.

the big box is all Wendy's fault. she told me how much she LOVED the WAMK storage boxes & how sturdy they are & i just had to order a bunch up. so i ordered 8 of them & 1 that was smaller. they are AWESOME, too. they fit PERFECTLY inside my cubed shelf, too. they hold a ton. i plan on buying 3 more in the same blue color & size.

yesterday i did manage to get a lot done, but still have a lot more to do. hoping to finish up some stuff around dinner time & after the kids head to bed tonight. we are heading to my parents Friday before noon for the weekend. we three needs a nice break from the house & we are looking forward to free meals too :-)

home alone...

YAY!!! both kids are at Ty's school...WOOHOO!!! this doesn't happen very often. so i am thrilled! ...hahaha. this morning i finally dropped off Ty's Kindergarten registration form off for the fall at his future school. i'm thrilled, but also a little freaked out b/c he's growing so fast. i know he'll enjoy it though. the nice thing is it's in our neighborhood, so it's walking distance. ok, it's time for me to get some stuff done while i have the chance...

it's Monday...

& it's pouring rain outside. perfect day to stay in. since Tim has been away, me & the kids have been really keeping busy. so busy, that i go to bed when they do, b/c i am so beat trying to keep them entertained. i keep saying we'll stay home & do stuff, which we do, but i find myself loading them up in the car & we are off galavanting around town running errands or playing at the mall tot spot or something. this weekend is a crazy busy week, with National Scrapbook Day, assignment deadlines, lots of laundry & packing to drive to my parents. Wednesday i have Corinne set up to attend daycare at Ty's school. that'll be my day to get stuff down & i HOPE i get a lot done. but then again, i'd love to have a day to just sleep...ha. Tim came home Saturday around 8pm & then we dropped him off at the train station Sunday before noon. he won't be back til the 9th...that totally sucks! Mother's Day weekend is that weekend. as much as i'd love to spend it w/ my family, i think i will be having some Cindy time alone :-)...well except when they take me to the Japanese Steak House i love to go to each year...ha!

after watching Alvin & the Chipmunks movie in bed, they passed out all over each other. Ty snoring w/ his mouth wide open & C trying to breathe through her stuffy nose...lol! they laid like this for a good two hours.

our little lady...

little lady, Corinne, turned 11 months yesterday...i can't believe she is almost a year old. scary but exciting at the same time. it's amazing how time flies when they are so young. she's taking steps & loves to walk holding your hands, can hold her own bottle now, she will totally beat you up if you make her mad. a few days ago she attached Tyler...LOL. literally tackled him on the floor b/c he would take something away from her & she would be so angry & screach (sp) at him. then the other night, after Tim finished his ice cream, she wanted to eat what was left, but Tim wouldn't let her & boy she got on him while he was on the floor & smacked him in the face like 3 or 4 times. she can truly hold her own. it's hilarious! i've yet to be attacked, well, aside from the occasional biting of my shoulder b/c she's discovering other ways of using her teeth.

here she is enjoying her new toy. Ty  had one of these, too, but we had donated it to a neighbor or goodwill. Ty & i went to Kmart & racked up on some toys for Corinne, since she doesn't really have many of her own. see the front of her sweater? niagra falls from the mouth i tell ya.

and these little pretties...OMG. i wasn't suppose to buy anything not on my list at Target, but i happened to run by the shoe section to see if they had slipons i might like, well instead i saw these CUTE little shoes on clearance & snagged them FAST! they are a size 5, she's a size 4. i couldn't resist. the last one! even the associate at checkout loved them!

Tim headed out the door for his long drive to MI, for a gaming getaway w/ his online buddies. not sure how many will be there, but they started last night & will end on Monday. but Tim has to be back home Saturday so he can be ready to leave out on Sunday for a 2 week training on new Fuji equipment in CT for 2 LONG ASS weeks. totally not fun. then after he comes back, he has to leave out that Sunday or Monday for some sales meeting in TX for 3 days. i am not liking his 3 weeks away from home. so i'm sure i'll be pulling my hair out during his time away. ha!

ok, off we go to run errands & pick up movies. it's another nice day today, 85 degrees. super hot!!

just been super busy & seem to have come down w/ a cold. been taking Zicam to remedy it & today i am feeling much better. anyway, here' are some snapshots of what we've been up to since i really haven't posted much here lately...

have to share my excitement being the April Guest Designer for Page Frame Design Co....how cool is that? it's just AWESOME. their clear products are SO cool. all the different shapes & sizes & the damasks, super COOL!!! you can check out their site here & gallery, too. lots of eye candy to see. it's such an honor & THANKS a bunch Page Frames for all the wonderful product & this GREAT opportunity!!!! below are just one of the projects i created. they are door signs for the kids. i was going to make something to put over their towel hooks, but Ty insisted on having a 'boys only' sign, so Corinne would stay out of his room...LOLOL! you can see more here & i have a few more projects to add later this week in the gallery.

on April 4th, we celebrated Tim's birthday w/ ice cream cake from Baskin Robins. theme was Thomas the Train, as per Tyler. Tim had to wear the hat that was too small for him...LOL. all out of pure fun.

the week before that, Tim's parents came for a few days to visit w/ us. they enjoyed the grandkids, as well as they enjoyed them, too. we had a good time!!

been making jewelry, but have come at a stand still w/ trying to recover from being sick & such. hopefully will be back at it in full swing this week.

when the weather is good, me & the kids are outside enjoying it as much as possible. going on walks or playing outside in the yard. it was hotter than we all thought it was & we were exhausted.

no pictures to share, but i also enjoyed time spend w/ some girlfriends during our annual crop earlier this month. i couldn't wait to see everyone. we had a nice time. would've been nicer if the stomach virus didn't attack the family, but glad i had the chance to hang out w/ girlfriends to chat, scrap, eat & laugh with. thanks for a good time girls!!!

recovering...

from the stomach virus here in the Liebel household. of course, it started w/ Tyler...LOL! then Tim & Corinne got it REALLY REALLY bad. it was just horrible. more horrible for Corinne, b/c she can't really tell you how she feels or that she is about to upchuck. Tim was bedridden all weekend & by Saturday night, Ty was all feeling better. i was fine, surprisingly, i didn't think i was gonna get it. but then we all went to Walmart on Monday after picking Tim up & Tim wanted McDs. i actually can't stand McDs food. but their fries & apple pie are pretty good. so i had some. well needless to say, last night from 1030 pm to 230 am, i was shivering cold & weak as can be & anything i ate earlier didn't settle. today i slept most of the day. hubby worked from home & ran some errands. i am feeling much better though. luckly i only have it for 24 hours. just feeling week & ache though. Tim & Corinne had it for like 2 or 3 days. she had to have 5mils every 5 mins of pedialite for 24 hours. but she did well. poor thing didn't like not having her formula or any food. but today she did awesome eating all her food. all is good now. tomororw will be the day of cleaning & lysol'ng the house big time.

anyway, hope to be back to regain my strength tomorrow. just thought i'd post, since i've neglected my blog in almost 2 weeks.

the best toy finding...

that is a show i haven't watched in ages since Ty was probably 3. he LOVED watching that show. i'm sure it'll be something that'll be something Corinne will enjoy watching in the next year or two...we'll see. anyway, the ILs are coming into town tonight & as i was helping Ty move a toy bin, he started rummaging for some of his fave toys he hasn't played w/ in a long time. then i happened to look in another toy bin & guess what i found......Mr. Salt, Mrs. Peppe & Paprika :-)
this was one of the coolest & most adorable gifts given to Tyler & it matched our family PERFECTLY! lolol! when you press Mrs. Peppers smile, it plays the song..."Healthy snacks, Healthy snacks. We love to eat our healthy snacks. Carrots, Bananas and Celery, too. We love to eat healthy snacks, don't you?" and when you press Mr. Salts head, different little sayings they say. it's the CUTEST thing ever.

anyway, just thought i'd share this. it's so me, Tim & Tyler...LOL! but i thought they had a another baby on the show...how cool would that be? hahahaha! Corinne is playing w/ it now & she is so cute dancing to it. ok, off to see what C is whining about now! have a good weekend!

shes 10 Months

Corinne turned 10 months on Easter Sunday. can't believe she is 2 months from being a year old. i can not believe how time has flew by as it is. we are finally getting some nice weather & it was so gorgeous last week, after picking Ty up from school, we all headed right outside in the backyard. it was fun. Corinne totally enjoyed swinging w/ daddy :-) here are some random milestones that are off the top of my head at the moment....

she can balance herself for more than 20 secs.

she sleeps til 5 or 6 am before wanting a bottle.

loves eating what we eat...pretty much everything a 10 month old is able to handle.

knows how to wave bye-bye & i believe she even say the words bye-bye.

gives HUGE hugs & adorable kisses.

she loves to climb up high while in your arms.

gets along w/ most people, but is afraid of Papa Lewis' voice.

enjoys a game of chase.

isn't comfortable w/ Sky much. she will swat him if he gets near her & looks at him funny.

tunes by Jack Johnson, John Legend &  Ingrid Michaelson soothes her & loves to listen to their music in the car.

LOVES drinking water from her sippy cup.

could spend hours & hours in the bathtub if you let her. she always wants to stand up though, so scary.

when she hears noice from the steps or the front door, she knows it's her daddy coming in from work or from upstairs. she gets all giddy when she sees her daddy. it's the cutest thing ever.

is constantly babbling, loves to talk & will carry on a conversation w/ you.

i'm sure there is more, but i only have a few moments. i will update later this week w/ pictures from Easter, which was so fun, but so laid back & most relaxing, too!!

this morning, she finally figured out how to climb the steps, but could only go so far after scaring herself when one of her legs stepped down on the lower step.

she's not walking yet, but she can stand on her own for quite a long time now.

has had me super busy. just doesn't seem to slow down. i have TONS of emails to return. so i will be spending the next 3 days (the weekend) catching up on emails. just didn't want anyone to think i was ignoring them. i have some RAKS to send out as well  & other packages of stuff to some of you, too. i will get those out in the mail super fast. my apologies for the delay.  i wish there were more hours in the day to get stuff done.  w/ a little one, it can be hard, but also exciting at the same time. speaking of little ones...see photos below!

7 Random

facts about me. i've neglected my blog. just been busy. so i thought i'd post some random facts you may not know about me. Dana was so kind to tag me, that i don't wanna disappoint. so here goes......

1. i'm known to eat a can of roasted planters almonds in 2 days, that i will make myself not buy another can for a week. they are SO flippin good & too much of a good thing.

2. it bugs the heck out of me when water is added to a soap dispenser just to use the remaining amount before tossing it. oh it just urks me for some reason. it's all runny & not as soapy & it gets all over the counter top. Tim does that a lot & i will get on him about it. i don't like the way it feels on my hands...YUK!

3.  i have some weird obsession about rearranging kitchen cabinets & drawers. it gets so bad that once i finally realize where i have moved everything, i'll rearrange them again.

4.  i can finish a bottle of really good red wine in one night while surfing the net & goofing off into the wee hours of the night along while indulging in a dark chocolate candy bar.

5.  when i first met Tim at the office where i worked, he wanted to take me out to lunch. i was all excited, b/c that just meant FREE lunch for me for the day.

6.  my oven gets a little smokey when i preheat it for baking. we have to open the windows in the kitchen when you open the oven door. i know, i know. i need to clean the bottom of the oven. i just don't want to. i am thinking of adding that chore to Tim's honey-do-list instead. it's just too much work to me. i will clean the burners. but if i forget too much, i'll just replace them w/ new ones. i have black ones now. you can't tell a thing :-)

7.  i was SO mad when i woke up Sunday & didn't realize it was day light savings time. i even watched the news the night before & they never brought it up. don't they know i rely on them for that kinda info?

my sweeties...

Corinne enjoying a piece of my ice cream cake...she was a happy baby yesterday, but then all of a sudden, she is coughing & sleeping a lot. poor baby is sick. coughing. didn't sleep well last night. Ty is home sick today, too. i'm sure it's something he brought home from school, b/c 1/2 those kids & teachers have been sick w/the flu. he also looks older in this photo to me. scary he is growing up so fast.

alas, i come downstairs & i see My Little Pony table cloth on the kitchen table...LOLOL! i could not stop laughing. it was histerical i tell ya. then to top it off, i open up my gifts & my little man got me a Pink Little Pony for real!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!

then i pull out the little Pony Luv case birthday theme...hahaha! too freakin CUTE!!! they both are sitting on my hutch staring at me...LOLOLOL!

i also got a remote control..i know i know...why the heck would i want a remote control. well, Tim bought this cool lookin remote for the main TV last year & it just SUCKS! i can't stand it. i would complain about that remote almost daily for atleast 6 months now. so he FINALLY buys me one i keep in my studio & it's all mine & it's MUCH better than that cool crappy lookin one that is just horrible...LOLOL! i LOVE my new remote control!

i also got the Jack Johnson and Friends cd to the movie Curious George...LOVE LOVE that soundtrack. we rented the movie for Ty last week & i just loved the music.

earlier that day, Corinne & i had a girls day out...nothing major, but we went to get my brows waxed/trimmed/plucked...hehehe, had lunch at the Red Robin & walked the neighborhood for 45 minutes. it was a GORGEOUS day outside. i didn't want to waste it inside. she was happy & we had a nice time.

it was a VERY interesting birthday this year...LOLOL! i really did feel like a kid & i dont' think i laughed so hard in my life when i opened my gifts to find that pink My Little Pony...LOLOL!

a BIG thank you to everyone for all the birthday love yesterday...thanks for the cards, emails & comments!!! oh & my cake...it was a Baskin Robbins chocolate with vanilla ice cream cake & it had mini brownies on top of it....MY GOODNESS...i had a couple slices of it...i will be working off those extra calories for the next few weeks!!!

with friends....

on Friday, Corinne & i had the chance to hang out w/ my best girlfriends. they came up from Richmond for the day. we had a GREAT time. lots of catching up & im sure we could've chatted much longer if time permitted. Corinne did SO good w/ Penny & Deborah. that meant a lot to me. i was hoping she would take to them well & she did. she loved them. it was so fun. Penny was sporting her new D300...OH MY WORD...talk about NICE, goodness gracious. put my XT to shame i tell ya. time for an upgrade :-) hehehe. later, i took them to Bangkok Boulevard. it's a NICE Thai resterant that i only eat at. LOVE LOVE that place. it was their first time eating Thai & they both enjoyed it. so it was fun they tried new things & i actually tried some new items on the menu that i will have to try again. Corinne made a massive mess on the floor w/ the rice & all over her pants. didn't realize it was gonna stick to her & dry up where it would be hard to come off...LOL. poor thing. it did calm her down while we were there & she enjoyed every minute of it, too. later we headed to lss to do some scrapbook shopping. love shopping w/ those two. between the three of us, we can do some serious damage. some pictures below to share from our day....

last but not least...the hightlight of the day was Corinne rolling her eyes. girlfriend would roll her eyes every chance she had. it was the funniest thing ever...LOL. i have been trying to get a pic of her doing that & finally have one...but all you see are the whites of her eyes...LOL! evil like...goodness. my mom HATED when i rolled my eyes as a child. curious if this is the beginning for something i will not look forward too...hahaha.

more yummy goodness...

i made this yesterday. figured an appetizer would hold the fam over while i ran a few errands alone & then all i had to do was come home  & grill up some maui maui. well, that did happen. Tim ate the entire 1/2 loaf while i was out...LOLOL. he was hungry, but he also LOVED it. i had more when i got back & gosh, i can understand why he ate all the he did. very, very, very TASTEY! will be making this again. now i am gonna make this, this weekend. it's healthier & looks SO SO SO GOOD!

lastly, our 21.1 lb & 29 1/2 in. tall 9 month baby girl, loves to clap her hands, says mama & dada, can balance herself standing w/out support, crawls fast trying to get away from us, is eating more table food, learning to drink water from a sippy cup, enjoys racing cars w/ Tyler on the kitchen floor, loves the outdoors & howls when she cries... :-) even more exciting, she gets to meet mama's best girlfriends, Penny & Deborah...YAY!!!! i am SO DANG excited! i miss them so much. they are driving up here from Richmond for an all day visit w/ us. lots of chatting, shopping & i'm sure eating :-) WOOHOO!!!

let me tell you, i have found a new love for sandwiches. i'm not a huge sandwich person at all. when i go to reseraunts, i don't order a burger or a sandwich (unless i'm at Panera Bread), i order like a salad or a full course meal w/ desert to follow :-). but DAMN, was this Goat Cheese & Roasted Red Peppers sandwich TO DIE FOR!! lots & lots of flavor i tell ya. i saw the show when Ina Garten made this, but b/c i never tried goat cheese before, i was hesistant to try it. it wasn't until i received an email from my SIL, Annie (Thanks so much), about it & how good it tasted, that i just had to add it to my list of must cook for the week! it's messy when you are peeling the skin & removing the seeds from the peppers, but the prep is SO worth it!!! i think i will try to add strips of grilled chicken to it next time. this is going on our list of meals to eat on a regular basis.

my HMITM layout for this weeks challenge is 20/20...20 pattern papers & 20 embellishments of your choice, super easy. though. Corinne loves going through my supplies, what child doesn't? hehehe. anyway, if i need to do something really quick, like change a load of laundry or even vacuum w/out her glued to my hip, i give her my jar of HS chipboard to play w/ & she's content :-)

taking Corinne in for her 9 month checkup. so i'll be back later to post an update on what she up to. have a lovely week :-)

random chatter w/ pics...

sitting at my desk & all of a sudden, tons & tons of black birds in our backyard. really cool to me. Corinne & i would knock on the window & they'd scatter away & then gradually come back...hahaha, it was really cool. she was entertained. i had to get a picture. they were feasting before getting out of dodge...cold weather coming in our way. we have a winter advisory til 10pm. ice really. schools are closed, but Ty's school is daycare also, so he's having fun today!

this week i decluttered my pantry, fridge & freezer...after seeing this expired date on this package.....

it was due! there's not much left, but plenty to cook up before restocking fully again. just trying to buy as we need to use stuff and/or get specifics that i KNOW we WILL eat right away or FAVORITES.  the only think i need to do is update my dry herbs & some spices.

yesterday was playdate w/ Ali & Evan. as usual, the boys had a blast! i forgot to bring my camera. they were acting so silly while eating their ice cream cone. it was just hilarious. loved that moment. Corinne did well, too & she even napped. i had fun catching up w/ Ali. thanks for hanging out w/ us you two & can't wait til we meet up again :-)

i don't have many pictures of Corinne w/ Sky, but i love how he sits there calm, but alert w/ his ears sticking up...seeing if she will attack him...LOL! should be an interesting year w/ the two of them.

a few nights ago...C having a real bath in the bathtub. she loves to splash like crazy. but she worries me when she tries to lift herself up in the water, holding onto the side like she does. hopefully that'll pass...hahaha...we'll see. love her look, like she's pissed off at me or something...LOL.

this leapfrog table was the BEST INVESTMENT in toys! this is Ty's old toy. he had it since he was about 6 or 9 months. i bought it early. i'm glad i did. played w/ it ALL the time. helped him balance & i LOVED watching him dance to the music. Corinne does the same thing. she's a cutie. love seeing her shake her butt & bounce w/ her legs, feet planted on the floor...so cute. Tim cleaned it up nicely for her so it's like new again! so glad we saved this & many other toys of Ty's.

on President's day, before heading out to do a little shopping, got some quick pics of me & C. she is ready to walk on her own, too. she's a mess. she will be 9 months old tomorrow :-) she has a checkup Monday...eager to see how much she weighs.

ok, going to goof around online for a while. Corinne is napping right now. she's been glued to me since this am. plus, i have been so busy doing chores around here that i just wanna veg & do nothing...LOL!

i'm trying out a new recipe this weekend...a few actually, will share after we feast. have a good weekend :-)

sorry for not updating earlier. i ended up w/ a sinus infection. i was taking Zicam before i even left for CHA & was fine during the show. but as soon as i got home, the pressure was on. i've been resting for the most part & taking lots of naps. hope to be cleared of it so i can enjoy my weekend more. anyway, cha was lots of fun. lots of eye candy & boy, i can not WAIT for all the new goodies come out & into my little hands. as usual, i was filled w/ lots of inspiration. i didn't take many pictures at all. i had my camera w/ me at all times, but i think i was too lazy to use it, while enjoying conversation w/ everyone i ran into.

favorites at the show...Maya Road, their booth was pure eye candy. i know my budget will be shot just buying up all their products. love love Fontwerks new stamps...YUMMY! Hero Arts had some cute cute acrylic stamps i fell in love w/. Doodlebug's velvet crush, October Afternoon papers & stamps are just to die for. one of my favorite new companies!! Pink Paislee is another new company & their products are just dang awesome!! Sassafrass Lass border strips (genius idea), KI lace paper & Elsie's dog line, Heidi Swapps new mirrors, Scenic Routes colors, Cosmo Cricket black chipboard, Making Memories SLICE & Baby Book :-), SEI's Dill Blossom line (can't wait for Poppy to come out) & of course, Fancy Pants lots & lots of felt & pretty papers, Jenni Bowlin ALWAYS has the cutest stuff, Page Frames printed acrylics rocked, American Crafts ALWAYS blows me away. love love everything from them & can't wait to get my package!! that's all that comes to mind right now.

i was uber excited to see Kelly Noel in person. she is just so dang sweet & an awesome designer, too. her boys are the CUTEST!! we chatted quite a bit. enjoyed her company. also met Amy Licht, too. she is a sweetheart.

i know it's not lady like to be all over another womans man, but i had to be silly around him. my girl, Jen's husband, JJ, owners of Bam Pop was there w/ his friend Pete. JJ is hilarious, too. i had to let him know how i felt about one of their new pattern papers not having enough black people on it...HAHAHAHA!!

my friend, Heather Stanworth & i had a chance to hang out Saturday night w/ her mom Sharon, Robert & Kim Moreno. we had a true blast, too. lots of laughing, drinking, eating & just being silly. at the end of the show, i kinda tortured her while hanging out at the QK booth...LOLOLOL.

my friend, Michelle StClair, was working the Tinkering Ink booth. i missed out on the chance at getting a photo of her wearing a jean skirt. i LOVED their cute designer shirts, too. they wore a different one each day.

coming home from a little getaway is always enlightening when you see your family waiting for you at the front door, w/ open arms. loved it. Tyler was super excited. he wouldn't stop talking to me for HOURS...LOL! it was hilarious. Corinne, was glued to my hip at all times. only time she wanted nothing to do w/ me, is when her & Ty would play on the floor together. Tim had to run out the door fast for work. he did good, house was clean, laundry done & an empty dishwasher...NICE!!!

hello...

Corinne has reached the capacity of her carseat. she is officially too big in weight & size. i'm so bummed. carriers like that are so handy when you have to run in & out of places. she currently has 3 teeth :-) YAY! she's finally getting her teeth in. she has two up top & one on the bottom & i do believe the 4th one is ready to come in while i am gone. it's been really hard to get a good picture of her teeth. she's still enjoying her baby food & she also loves to much on sliced apples, cresants, mash potatos & more. i bought her some size 12 sleepers several weeks ago & they fit her perfectly. they look almost skin tight on her & she's not even 9 months old yet...LOL! she's just chunky & long. she gets around a lot very well around the house exploring & loves to babble & chatter, we have great conversations :-) loves to be tickled under her arms & she gives us all kisses back...LLLOOOVVVEEE that she does that. if she is napping & i am watching foodnetwork channel & Ina Gartens show comes on, she wakes up...it's like her que to wake up. it's that opening song that gets her everytime, it's hilarious.

a quick stop before we got home from one of our many am walks. we actually went in the afternoon since it was warmer w/ the sun on a chilly day. Ty did so well & i was so glad. we walked to the market to get a few items. not a great photo w/ the sun in his eyes. Corinne finally passed out & slept in her carseat after we got home for another 1.5 hours...NICE!!!

well i am off to CHA in Cali. leaving today & i have a few more things packed & finish filling out a "need to know what to do w/ the kids" list for Tim, so he is not lost...LOL! all i can say is that i WISH i was a fly on the wall while i'm away & he's home w/ the little ones...hehehe. i'm sure he'll do fine & he knows my parents are on standby if he needs a break...LOL!

thickers everywhere...

last night, Tim took the kids to Target for a few hours, which was perfect because i really needed to get a few things done w/out any interruptions. after they arrived, Corinne had a field day in my AC thicker/rubon bin i had on the floor (my studio is a disaster from creating). i was able to stop her from empting out the entire bin. she was starting to grab my pack of rubons, too.

LOST is BACK! YAY! i can't believe they had fans waiting so damn long. i watched the enhanced version of last seasons last episode. so i can not wait to see what tonight holds for us. i hope there are no reruns this season. it's on early, too...i will need to get the kids ready for bed early tonight. i don't like to be bothered with while LOST is on.
